So jump kick and sweep? When you can teach me how to catch E Honda flying across the room with a spinning piledriver, then we'll talk.

I think the lesson is, you don't want to jump kick and sweep TOO much. See, this was guy's big mistake, he shouldn't have done this sweep.

I just went immediately to part two. Very, very insightful and amusing. Nicely done.

I kinda wish 'Hard Harry' would return to airwaves just to narrate over that video. There were moments I felt him being channeled. Cool

Part 3?

I'm pretty sure you can't. The only super I know you can throw someone out of is a Raging Demon.

Yeah, you still aren't gonna get him in a throw, unless it's either at the start or end of his move animation.

I've seen impressive things done with zangiefs Spinning piledriver, but I dont think you can pick a sumo that can fling himself directly forward through the air like he was shot out of a cannon. Just seemed like something impressive you could do, if you were the kind of person that gets good enough at street fighter.

Personally I prefer the strategic flow of SFIII. Man I've been meaning to make a capcom post, but I'm damn lazy.

I like guilty gear and KOF, but I love street fighter. Basically any 2-D sprite fighter.

I like Third Strike, but the lack of Guy makes me sad. He's like my favorite street fighter character ever. I play as Makoto, Dudley and Yun in Third Strike. How about you?

I love 2d fighitng games, so I play alot of them. guilty gear included.

I consider most of the characters in third strike to be retarded, but I play as yang, remy and alex. I play as Q oftentimes as well, because he sucks and it's funny. I want to play as hugo andore, but I suck with the wrestler types.

as far as alpha goes, guy and cody are my favorites, probably cause I lvoe final fight. I wish somebody would make a haggar for mugen. I also play as karen alot.

I never learned to effectively execute extensive combos, so for the most part I stick to characters who hit only a few times. Q is my favorite, hence my odd name (my avatar is the guy Q is based off of). Hugo a close second. The only character I can with any regularity achieve A's and A+'s within the campaign mode is alex. Dudley's bad-ass but I suck using him.

KoF is nice because they feel like their hitting extremely hard. Not to mention the abusive supers. Connect for 10 seconds of one character ripping another to shreds.

(BTW, how can someone using remy of all people accuse Q of sucking? He's chock full of one parry moves that require charging, plus he's basically the emo guile)

somebody apparantly underestimates the power of EX sonic booms to start combos.

I like KOF because even if you suck at it, the game makes you feel cool. The animations are nice.

My 3 all-time favorite 2D fighters:

Street Fighter Alpha/Zero 3
The Last Blade 2
Samurai Showdown IV

To this day I still dream of buying a NEO GEO off EBay and tracking down all the great SNK fighters. (KOF, Samurai series, Last Blade 1 + 2, etc.)

And, just because this is the greatest Street Fighter Pic I have ever seen:

Hmm.. Nice pic. only if that most powerful move in Smash Bros. was in SF.

And I played the other SF3 for Dreamcast.

I'm gonna read up on that, or visit youtube. Remy is normally classified as a low tier character, along with sean, 12, and Q.

But thats the really good thing about III strike. I've watched someone tear up a genuinely good alex player with Q. The game is well balanced, and you can dominate with anyone.

you toss out an EX sonic boom and then hop towards the enemy. they're busy either blockign the booms and then getting thrown, or they have to parry high and then immediately low (or vice versa, depending on if you threw high or low), and then deal with whatever you do to them right after.
