Greetings all, this is my first post. I just wanted to register and thank you all for the last several hours reading through the threads - it's been fun! Smile

Just a quick note on how I got here: it was from a link at thedigg (or something like that) regarding a top 100 list for the NES. At first I was somewhat annoyed at the commentary for the games, but eventually lightened up and even laughed several time! Laughing

Then I decided to browse the forum and liked what I saw --despite the lack of love for the C64 and a somewhat casual attitude toward politics (to which I love debating!) The latter I could do without however, as I have my 'haunts' for that stuff already. Wink

At any rate, I won't be able to add much to the forum as I have re-enlisted in the US ARMY and am shipping in a few days. All the same, nice forum here and the site overall is a great time killer!

Thanks! Pac-Man

Take care when you head out there. I may not support the current president but I'll always support the troops.

Thanks for taking the time to post, and godspeed.

Also, I don't exactly hate the C64. Its Christmas games all sucked, but Impossible Mission ruled.

Taking the time? It's only proper after the hours I have spent being amused in these parts. Again Thank you.

But Legacy of the Ancients...well, I'll stop there as there were SO many C64 games that stomp ass... Smile

Damn, my post came up at 9:11 by coincidence... good thing I'm not superstitious! WHAT!?

(I know that this violates the "Colombo rule", I didn't want to affect the time stamp above - sorry!)

Magnetic Scrolls made some pretty cool C64 games too.

Much love for the C64 here. Raid Over Moscow, Beachhead, Jumpman, the list goes on and on.
