Another Steambot Chronicles and a sequel to Sigma Star Saga would make me a happy guy. I never really cared for Vagrant story, the movements seemed to stiff and I could never seem to do enough damage to my opponents no matter what strategy I tried. Axelay II sounds like a good idea though. I've never had the chance to play the Shenmue series however I think I will look into it if I can ever afford a Dreamcast or figure out how Iso (or is it Isos?) files work.

I think it was trying to point out Series that are discontinued, and some games could be considered those general titles. Sonic Xtreme/Sonic Adventure for Sonic 4, Super Mario 64 for SMB4, and Wario Land II for SML3.
Even with that definition though, Contra 4 was released just two years ago. I never got what was so great about Axelay, I think it just got good reviews for it's perspective, as Gradius III, R-Type III, and Super R-Type blow it away. This is missing Banjo-Threeie(None of that bullshit of assraping the designs, and making them use vehicles), a Spyro made by Insomniac, and a Crash Bandicoot made by Naughty Dog. I'm tired of developers raping my childhood. I do condone a new Jet Moto and Road Rash as well.

I'd enjoy streets of rage and strider sequels, but what I'd really like would be another gunstar heroes. imagine the crazy action of the original with the graphics capabilities of these days?
battletoads would be great as well.
I think I'm the only guy on earth that enjoyed the new bionic commando

I hated shenmue, so I'm fine with that, but I did recall them working on a shenmue MMO a while ago, and I DID remember VF4 was SUPPOSED t ocome to the x box, with ryo and lan di as characters.
seems like there's still interest in the series with sega, but they keep having to fall back.

Agreed, I never really like Shenmue, I kinda thought it was a bit over rated, though technically very impressive, especially for the time.

They did a sequel to gunstar heroes, or maybe a remake. Its on gameboy advance. Either way, it was not as good as the SEGA classic.
Funny, the only thing I would be interested in seeing at all is another Streets of Rage.
Shenmue has a sequel, its called Yakuza. Well, its the spiritual successor to it, with a little bit less dicking around japan and more beating up random thugs with your quick time events.
