Labor Day is the most ironic day of the year, it's a day of work, yet everyone's normally off.

I wish I could say the same, but I'm also workin' for da man today. We have crazy, retarded sales going on this whole weekend, then after the night is over, I have to pull all the signage off. Fuckin' LABOR day is right.

i got today off. my buddy works for Verizon Prepaid cell phone service and he said they were busy. but he got time and a half + an extra holiday day.
i havent done anything today. well, like a good hispanic kid, i did some yardwork, but that was a long time coming since its been about 2 months since i done that. other than that, just played WCIII online all day and drank beer. now i just bought some more beer @ safeway ($15.88 for a 30 pack of Tecate) + some little caesars hot & ready $5 pizza. and gatorade 32oz @ $.69 each. bought a box of those.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |

Friggin' lucky!
Labor day was the first day I've had off both school and work since...I started work. It was AWESOME. Not very eventful, but awesome; I woke up at noon (awesome), started playing Doom 3 (awesome), started getting bored by how monotonous it was (not so awesome), tried playing my new Xbox copy of Silent Hill (got it for the bonus content) and my Xbox told me that it wasn't 360 compatible (definitely not awesome, considering the "Xbox 360 Compatible" sticker that's on the front of the box), then I ended up just playing Simcity on the SNES for about five hours (awesome).

Their backwards compatibility is lame, a ton of the stuff on the official list requires you to go online a get updates and whatnot for it to work.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to go to a buddy's house to download the update for it. What also sucks, I looked up the list of 360-compatible xbox games, and it says for Silent Hil 2 there're all these lighting & graphic & saving bugs that result when played on a 360. *sigh* and I just wanted to play as Maria...
