Okay. This should probably be in the Twilight thread, but its so nauseating I had to give it a home of its own. Move it if you must.
Now I'm no fan of Wuthering Heights. In terms of classic lit, it might just be my least favorite book.
But c'mon. Even Bronte deserves better than THIS.

Nice of publishers to use fictional characters to whore a book out. Makes sense though. Its audience is made of low rung high school girls, so even the threat of disapproval from people who DON'T EXIST is enough to prompt them into actions that aren't too objectionable.

I guess I should just be happy kids might read classic lit. But this is like the atomic bomb of reading bribes...yes it might get them reading, but at what cost???
