From what I've read, swine flu is MUCH worse than regular flu (although, thankfully, I can't say that from personal experience). It seems to be nearly on-par with mononucleosis (not as bad, but fairly close to it).
However, I agree that it isn't as bad as it's cracked up to be. The only people I've heard of dying are young children, whose immune systems aren't very strong in the first place. I'm not scared about it either.

On a less serious note, I got a chuckle out of the first paragraph of that article. What he said about his mom was funny.

The article isn't bad, but I don't really like Maddox's style. What the hell has he been doing for the past year, though? And on another note, I've heard that swine flu makes you feel awful, but is less deadly overall than normal seasonal flu.

Saw that earlier today, it was ok. His book was worth the money. This site is still better imo.

Finally, a new update! Even though it was only okay when compared to his older stuff, at least it's something. I've been waiting forever for one and read his old stuff over and over.
Swine flu is all hype. I heard that it's actually more dangerous to take the vaccine than it is to leave it untreated.

And I really need that book.

I used to enjoy his posts back when I was in like...6th grade. After he stopped updating frequently, I realized his posts were getting less funnier each time. I don't know if it was because I got older or what. I still do enjoy some of his really old posts, like the one about killing zombies or whatever it was.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan either. For some reason I always end up subjecting myself to his articles, though...I don't know why.
From what I understand, he's been busy writing a book/movie/something or other like that.

I don't think Maddox got worse; you just matured. Perhaps you still enjoy the older articles because there's a certain nostalgic value to them.

I enjoy Maddox when he's writing about something interesting. When he's just bragging that his cell phone is better than the iPhone, not so much. And when he's writing about swine flu 3 months after everyone stopped caring about it, it's just sad.

Very, very fucking sad.

Fun Fact: The first time I had ever heard about Bill O Reilly is when Maddox called him a big blubbering vagina.

Maddox is fucking done. He took the last thousand or so brilliant ideas he had and stuffed them into his epic book, and then promptly expired.

Edit: Fuckin A! I didn't realize he was making an extended version of the booK!

QFT

His old stuff was great because of his writing style and unique subject matter but he seems to have lost his touch recently.

Yeah, but that article sure as hell made me want to buy that phone. Then I discovered that hardly any of them were imported into the US, and the ones available are hundreds of dollars. That kind of bummed me out.

So fuck Maddox.
