According to the WWF, we are draining the world's resources at a fantastic rate. In order to fix it, we need less than zero population growth. We need to start killing people. Not me, of course, though. But it's funny... people are condemning what's going on in Darfur, but we actually need more of that if humanity as a whole is to survive.

I am SO living in the past. I thought this was about the Wrestling Federation...
So, it's agreed that genocide isn't so bad? Wait a tic, this sounds like a great Treat Williams movie in the making.

FADE IN:
TITLE OVER: In 2050 the human population surpassed the Earth's means. Over population exploded and resources diminished. Extreme measures needed to be taken. HE's (Hunter Executioners) became a sanctioned organzation set up by the United Nations to elimate humans who proved to be invaluable by the SYSTEM, the merging of technologies from ECHELON and CENSUS. Only those with legitimacy cards were allowed sanctuary from the mass extermination.
It's the perfect, unchalleneged program and the world's last hope.
Until now...

It's also somewhat similar to a flash game that I've wanted to make for a few years now, one that I would make myself if I had any real artistic talent and programming skill, or if I had the money to hire a resident programmer.
And no, I won't give you the specifics. I still hope to create or finance it someday and I don't want to ruin the surprise.

It sounds like the Man Hunter Attachment of the New Earth Federation in Gundam: Gaia Gear.

I have a whole BOOK of game concepts that I wrote up! But I suffer from your same pitfall.
2--Fuck that! As for the earth...
Kill Everything!
...except me.
3. Here's a storyline for short from one of my concepts:
In the late 21st Century, humans have been physically able to have presence on the Internet...
It is the year 2097. The internet has "gone to the dogs"...
Now, 4 brave heroes step into the unknown...
I can give you the whole story if you want. I just summarized it... Horribly.
I also want to translate the Tokimeki Memorial series (Konami's very popular series of Dating sims) but I don't know how to hack the SNES and PC Engine roms of the original game.
Yes, I play Dating Sims, but mostly ones with no sexual content what-so-ever.

it seems there is some sort of natural selction to this overpopulation thing. when population starts to outgrow its capacity something catastrophic happens to reduce sed population. Something like the black plague of midevil europe that comes in and makes more space for all, we bcome stronger or die off and life begins again, a la the dinosaurs. i just kind of made this up without regard for factual info, like whether or not europe was and the dinosaurs were overpopulated, but im sure nature will work it's course.

Or, we could just have some more wars to thin out the population. WWI and II worked out well like that.

We don't need to piss them off, they act irrational all by themselves.
Recent news out of China about Kim Jong Il apologizing shows that we called their bluff though - if those reports are true.

there are ways to regulate planetary population (wars, hiv, others..), well, those means aren't 'politically' correct in 2006. So, let the population rise to a critical state and let the stronger survive (and the weak perish )
I'm so not nice...

But we have to be mean if we're going to decrease the population. I was in a discussion yesterday about genetic health problems/defects. It got to a point where I just started thinking: If all these people's kids are going to have CF or high cholestrial why not just remove them from the gene pool? I hate to quote "Dr. Strangelove" in this matter, but we should keep the purity of essence.
Well, it made sense to me then. It kinda sounds malicious now. I guess it all comes back to the belief that some people should not reproduce.

Nuclear war is not a good way to diminish the population though, as radiation has series longlasting effects that would damage the planet even more. Genetically engineered diseases or anthrax would be better options.

I'm fairly sure the FBI is now monitoring this website.

Well, America wouldn't be a target.
The whole idea is largely inspired by Randy Newman's "Let's Drop The Big One", you know, except without the bomb.
I mean if we just take out China entirely, we're already 33% of the way to reaching our goal.
Oh yeah, and IT'S A JOKE. I'd rather play Castlevania than genocidal maniac.

I'm sorry, this is by far the most idiotic thing i've ever read. and im talking regalsin levels.
North korea is a VERY small problem. so they tested a nuclear weapon, they have no means to deliver it very far outside their borders, and their only real concivable target is south korea, which north korea already has over a million piece of artillery pointed at at any given time.
And if a shell were ever to land in south korea ( a good north american ally), The U.S would bomb north korea into the ground at an alarming speed. And frankly, Their only big ally China wouldn't give a shit, because N.K does not sustain china in any way. there are no important exports that leave north korea for china, nor does china import all that much into N.K.
All in all, this North korea problem is being blown WAY out of proportions. Pakistan has nuclear weapons (a far larger arsenal and with more capabilitys then kim jong il will ever have) and there are an alarming amount of anti-american groups surfacing there.
so,in closing, North korea doesn't mean shit. its a little closed in hole that gives communism a bad name and if they ever overstepped their boundrys, the U.S would obliterate them and south korea would likley move north and unite korea again as a whole.

The other scary thing about Pakistan is that Pakistan and India both have nuclear weapons and they don't particularly like each other. Things have gotten better over the last few years, but it's still not out of the question that India and Pakistan could blow the shit out of each other and fuck up the planet in the process.

I've been hearing about this for over a decade. I used to care back in middle school/high school when I was pseudo political, but my fear of those two has dimmished greatly over the last few years.
