Yogi Bear and Homer Simpson don't really seem like they fit on the list. Yes they have been in video games, but they aren't video game characters.

Too many guys who are popular from other mediums, but otherwise not bad. Ideally, everyone on the table could be represented by a sprite. I marked out for Evil Otto though.

I agree with this assessment. The only thing that really, truly bugged me though was that they used the cartoon version of Pac-Man instead of the sprite. That's inexcusable.

I had to know what each abbreviation stood for. But I never needed to know what each number on the periodic table was.
