I believe in the chatroom*, I mentioned I wanted to one day design video gaems for a living. So on Monday, I flew from Los Angeles, California to Seattle, Washington, then got driven to Redmond, Washington to visit a college called Digipen. In short, this place is awesome, seriously one of the coolest places I have even been in. Their school is literally right next to Nintendo of America, and their students work on DS and Wii games all the time, they have built their own systems, and done all sorts of awesome stuff. To prove their awesomeness, you know Portal? It was made by students of Digipen. And not once they graduated, Portal was first a game made by seniors at Digipen called Narbacular Drop, which Valve saw, had them come in and pitch the game, and was reworked into Portal.
Anyways, I could sit here all day raving about how much I love this school, but that is not the purpose of this post. You see, Digipen has free downloads of all games made at their school online, as well as all their animations on display.
