There's nothing wrong with posting in every section. Also, in your screenshot we can see that he did NOT post in every section, nor how many threads it was in (Is following 1 thread in each section unreasonable? Hardly). The reason it was an issue with hacker was because he had replied to the 20 or so most recent threads in general discussion, many of which had already died, and most of his responses were single word posts that added no value to the thread.
