I have not really thought about this show in years. I did however watch the show every Friday night most of the time with friends, and most of them were not scary at all, but there were a few. I can think of one that scared the shit out of me, and when i think back to it I seem to transform back to a small very venerable child. It was Season 1 Episode 6 - The Tale of the Super Specs. In the episode a door was opened between dimensions one to witch people were all in black(even over their faces) and didn't talk or even make threatening gestures. They just lingered and that is what i found most unsettling about it. This could be very real, i had no safety net of logic how killer clowns don't exist... i had no defense for this. Nothing could change the fact that this could be real... so i didn't deal with it, and to this day I can't fall back on logic to disprove this, so it is still very real.
Thanks dicks i need that.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing Slayer. Does "Alan" think that we produced the show or something and wants to express his unease to us about that one particular episode 15 years later?

Give him a break, guys. I have seen both of you post some lame things as well.
This is why the forums are becoming deserted; people get turned off by unnecessary rude comments. Forum etiquette is an acquired trait. Help the guy and he can be a useful member of the Sydlexia community.

The only reason I posted this is because I saw the article Lessons Learned From Are You Afraid of the Dark, Season 1 There are 5 articles so I thought it might be a discussion point.
SpraCoalee... really? Yes I do know the name of the show. I used part of the title of the show(to help people understand what I was talking about) but change it slightly so again people will have an understanding of what the article will be about.

This, beat me to it.
I think I remember that episode...I don't recall it scaring me particularly though. The one that always made me want to sleep with the lights on was "Watcher's Woods." I don't know why it creeped me out so bad; I spend lots of time camping by myself and have never been really scared. Maybe that's why though...that ep is like the worst nightmare of what COULD be out there, even if it isn't

Pretty much my three favorite TV shows of all time actually. Oh, and Saved By The Bell.
