Ok, so I've got this class that's called History of Rock, as you could tell from the topic name. One of the final projects is a report on a full album. Any suggestions? I was considering either Powerslave or Cowboys from Hell, or if I wanted the ridicule of my class maybe Inhuman Rampage or 2BA Master as a joke.

AC/DC-Back in Black
Dio-Holy Diver
Black Sabbath-Just about anything, really
Diamond Head-Lightning to the Nations
The Jimi Hendrix Experience-Anything, really
Motorhead-Overkill, or Ace of Spades, or anything by Motorhead because Lemmy is Rock and Roll to the core. Seriously, if you can only write about one band, make it be Motorhead.

I'd say Pantera's Vulgar Display of Power, Venom's Welcome to Hell, the Misfits' Walk Among Us, Napalm Death's Scum, Carcass' Reek of Putrefaction, Killing Joke's Night Time (I can't stress how underrated Killing Joke is), Finntroll's Nattfoedd, Siege's Drop Dead, the Dead Kennedys' Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables, the Sex Pistols' Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols, Alice in Chains' Dirt, and maybe Nirvana's Bleach are good choices.

Oh, and I forgot Queen. Pretty much any album from the '70s up to the '80s would work for them, but I'd say their debut is the best.
