Last night, I read this list that MSN and PC World made. The Atari Jaguar is completely absent from this list and some of the consoles were completely obscure. In fact, there isn't even a Wikipedia article for the Gakken TV Boy.
Anyway, while I'm disappointed about the Jaguar's absence, this list seems pretty reasonable.

Atari 5200 being absent is much more of a loss, as it was a total bombing disappointment, and pretty much set up Atari for destruction against the rising NES.

Also it doesn't have the user friendly and option extensive depth that people accustomed with XBL have come to expect.
This will change with Nintendo's next console, which will undoubtedly release before the new Microsoft and Sony consoles.

I have never heard of half of those systems.
I would have been more interested if they did the worst of systems that actually sold some units.
For example, the PS1 was impressive for its graphics at the time, but holy fucking loading time. Or how about the fact that the PS3 costs a bazillion dollars, has only one decent game, and isn't backwards compatible even though it could very easily emulate its predecessor.

a while ago, some guy was able to program something that emulates the emotion engine on the PS3. so, rumor is that SONY will release a patch that will add that to the PS3

The PS1 and PS2 actually had a lot of good games, less the loading time. If they were played on modern hardware it could improve certain other elements of those games.
For example, better z-buffering, anti-aliasing, and anisotropic filtering. Oh, and what Syd said, it can handle loading times much faster.
