With hopes of Filming to start in 2011, a John Gotti film is apparently in the works.

Currently it looks like John Travola will star as John Gotti Sr. with James Franco Possibly playing as John Gotti Jr.

The entire Gotti family has signed exclusives to be consultants on the film as well, and John Gotti Jr. helped write the script.

Quoted from the CEO of Fiore Films, LLC “It’s going to be the new Godfather,” Fiore says. “It’s a story about a father and a son, but the father happens to be John Gotti Sr.”

I love Mob Movies, and would love to see this.

Wow...that sounds like shit. Travolta and Franco seem like terrible choices to me.

The new Godfather huh? Just like Battlefield Earth was supposed to be the new Star Wars?

No kidding. I like mob movies just as much as the next guy, but Travolta is a gigantic red flag for any film for me. The guy just isn't a very good actor and he gives me the creeps.
