Here is a video of me playing Beastie Boys VS Blondie, Intergalactic VS Rapture from DJ Hero. Just a turntable controller demo. This is one of my favorite mixes from the game. This game has a ton of great mash-up mixes.

Is this game any fun? I buy just about every gimmicky piece of crap that comes out, but I find it really hard to get excited about this game. Plus it has Eminem, which is an automatic two strikes.

I am finding it pretty fun so far. You and I are quite alike. i buy most games with these gimmicky controllers. Back in 2005 I pre-ordered Guitar Hero just because it sounded like a really cool idea even though many other people thought the idea was dumb.

The mixes in DJ Hero are pretty good with a lot of variety. The characters look dumb and you'd think Activision could make better characters considering how many Guitar Hero games they've done. Other than that the game is fun so far. I'm currently playing on medium but I did all the tutorials and there is definitely a good amount of replay value because of the advanced techniques in hard and expert like directional scratches, and crossfader spikes.

The controller be warned does require batteries, it is wireless so it needs AA batteries. Not a problem for me since I have a bunch of rechargeable AA's though.

If you like music games it is pretty solid. However I'd look at the set list first since you don't like Eminem.

What if I get the Wii version? It won't plug into the remote?

It might...I'm playing it on the Xbox 360 so I don't know how the Wii version works.

I used to like playing Beatmania, so I might look into getting this. Since the holidays are coming up I doubt it will be before next year though.

Your demo had Beastie and Blondie? Nice. Mine was Beastie and Foo Fighters. Amazing guitar/dj mix.
