I still cannot believe there has never been a Castlevania movie yet. The franchise is so inspired by cinema, that this just makes sense.

As long as they don't botch it.

Also, what did James Wan do?

Are they using the same script that Paul "Uwe Boll Jr" WS Anderson wrote?

Also, I've said it before, you want to see a Belmont on the screen watch Warlock. The hero in that is exactly like a Belmont.

Shit, I was so glad when they canceled it the first time. Oh well, at least it's being done by the guy who did Saw rather than the guy who did Stomp the Yard, sounds a little more promising already.

I just hope they can translate the same sense of scale.

In the games, whatever castle/mansion you are raiding always feels so epic and large.

I don't have high hopes for this...
A Castlevania movie doesn't really seem like it should be a horror movie to me you know? I mean, it's completely based around horror themes and all that but I always thought it was about the adventure.

I am thoroughly disgusted.

First of all, there should be no such movie, ever.

Second, if this movie must exist it should be a good version of Van Helsing, not Scream.

Haha, I spilled coffee on my lap when I read that. If they did that in the movie I would laugh my ass off.

And it's the first topic on the page too. It's understandable if it's by the bottom or even on page two, but when it's the first topic...

Okay, in that first paragraph I read Saw, Death Sentence, Alien vs. Predator, the Resident Evil movies, and the Death Race remake.

This movie is gonna suck. Mad

I honestly didn't know anything about it but I read about it a little and it just seems meh. It could be great and all but it doesn't seem like the guy that made it should have anything to do with a Castlevania movie.

If they do this correctly it could be a very good horror/adventure film, but again this is Hollywood we are talking about.

Just in case, I say we get to Hollywood any way we can, get together and watch over their collective shoulder.

Or we make our own studio and make the movies they way they should be.
