Oh I could understand why people wouldn't even give it a second look. Before I had heard it I really wasn't planning on giving MCR a second chance because I saw them live and they were fucking terrible. I mean like, playing out of tune and stopping in the middle of songs terrible. But I was forced to hear The Black Parade one evening not very long ago and it's not too shabby and I ended up getting the person to burn it for me. It's a lesson that if you hear a band play live and they are god-awful, seek out one of their albums to see if it's just as bad as the live act. If it's not, it means they are genuinely growing as a band.
