Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed a trend with Sonic games in the last few years. Seems like almost every new Sonic game, critics praise it as a return of Sonic. Then a few months later, they're shitting on it. They did it with Secret Rings, Unleashed, and Sonic Rush, but now they're all regarded as not so good. Right now it's happening with Sonic 4, whereas everyone gave it great reviews but now that it's been a couple weeks, everyone's turning their back on it. I expect Sonic Colors to be no different. It'll get decent reviews, they'll crown it as the real Sonic game we've been waiting for, then six months later it'll be the butt of everyone's joke. By then, the teaser for the next Sonic game will be released and everyone will swear up and down that the next one is the real deal.
Shake it, Quake it, Space Kaboom.

HAHA, that's awesome that he was so mad that it has hard levels. What a sally. Overall I like the look of this game, I won't buy it right away, but it's def. on my list.

No one praised Unleashed. It was always "it's fun, except for the werewolf stuff". Black Knight also got shit on from the beginning.
Will use: Remote, Remote/Nunchuck, Classic Controller, GCN controller
HECK. YES.

For the record, I went through and enjoyed both games.

I really liked Unleashed except for some small glitches. I never really got into Black Knight, but it had some awesome theme music.

I don't see why everyone keeps shitting on Sonic Unleashed's werewolf levels. Everyone makes them out as these giant wastes of time and that it's everything wrong with gaming and everything. They were fun. The only problem I really had with it was having to play through them 5 times to get those sun and moon medallions to unlock the next level. Then again, I didn't play the wii version so I have no idea about that.

Werehog, technically. I didn't have any problems with those levels at all.

Because Sonic turns into a werewolf.
So did Link and everyone loves that game.

Welcome to the video game industry. Zelda is successful, so Miyamoto can do whatever he wants, and it'll be hailed as brilliant. Sega has had a string of failures, so anytime they try something new it gets shit upon. No one ever gave Black Knight a chance because ZOMG WHY DOES SONIC HAVE A SWORD.

I gave Black Knight a chance because I really liked Secret Rings, but I just think BK wasn't as fun.
And for the record, I didn't like Twilght Princess. In fact, I haven't liked a Zelda game since Wind Waker.

How can you not like Secret Rings? SO FREAKING GOOD.

If I could use the classic or GC controller, maybe. But the controls were stupid. I had to all but dislocate my wrist to make the game register a jump. God forbid I could just, y'know, press a button.

The 2 button jumped. I imagine you're referring to homing attacks.
And the mistake people seem to make is force over speed. I know it's a mistake I've made. You don't need to be forceful with the remote to register a tilt, just fast.
I'm willing to give it another shot. It's been a couple of years. But I really lament the lack of a more traditional controller option.

Well, it was one of Sega's earliest titles for the Wii, at a time when Nintendo was pushing the motion controls HARD. Which is why it doesn't have additional controller options.
