Yeah, Halo is super fucking generic. I have never owned a Halo game, and with any luck, I never will. As far as console FPS games go, I strongly prefer TimeSplitters 2 over Halo. The one player game was a lot more fun and imaginative than Halo, and the multiplayer had better weapons.

Another thing that pisses me off is that the Wii rarely gets anything worth playing. I don't want to play "Wii Bake Cookies" or whatever bullshit that Nintendo thinks will sell. Even huge titles like Mario are overused. Mario Party 520 or wherever the hell they are is boring and generic, only good for maybe two games when you have friends over. You have to swim through a pile of generic and sub-par games to get to gems like Mario Galaxy and Twilight Princess. The Wii is not at all the system for a hardcore gamer I know, but it seems like it is catering more to the party gamer crowd, and your grandma who was introduced to the system by Wii Sports, a cool thing at first for the innovation, but it is now old and boring, sub-par as a game. Even if a game has innovations it has to be exciting and fun. Wii Sports had all the innovation minus the fun you would hope for from the first game for the system.
That's my opinion anyway and I don't know how many Nintendo fanboys are on the site, but I ultimately have not enjoyed Nintendo after the N64.

How games for the PS3 and Xbox 360 have no multiplayer games.
They have no games for three or more players. All the games now focus on online play. I haven't explained this well so let me elaborate.
Crash Team Racing was for PS1 and you could have your friends over and play 4 people at once split screen. The games now no longer have that or for most games i've found.
Hell you can't even play two player online in some games and you should be able to.
I can't say to my mates:
"Oh yes you came over for some games, we've played some CTR now lets play COD5 now you all must go home and turn on your PS3s and log in so we can all play".
It's so fucking stupid, it's like they are trying to isolate people more and more from the world and NO headsets are not the same.

That is wicked lame. But they don't care that your all hanging out together, they care that you ALL need a console and a copy of the game.

My buddy is a manager at Game Crazy and he said they are going to be phasing out GC, PS2 and XBOX titles and accessories. I was like WHAT?!!? I also went to trade in a couple DS games like the Castlevania's and they offered me a $1 for each. When I asked how much they sell for he just looked at me and said "just keep them, don't make me look like an asshole."

Plot-wise, a lot of the newer Sonic the Hedgehog characters piss me off by being whiney bitches or just fucking obnoxious.
Gameplay-wise, Wing Commander just feels like a scenic flight as compared to blasting the shit out of enemy spaceships.
Tech-wise, I'd say how hard it is to build a map for Doom without Doom Builder fucking up the map by making certain areas have a smearing effect when you look around.

Syd, you should use Doom Builder. It's probably outdated or something, but I made levels with it with relative ease.

Well, I don't use anything anymore. This was like 1994, maybe 1995. I was a young teenager with dreams of being a game designer. DOOM CAD quickly crushed those dreams. I could probably figure it out better now if I really wanted to.
