Michael McDonald - Through the eyes of a child. From South Park, Bigger, Longer and Uncut.

That song is genuinely great, and I don't even like Michael McDonald.

Also, not to be confused with the fantastic Soul Asylum song by the same name.

Hah! Classic.

I got a new one: I'm gonna hand out mullet wigs and Old Milwaukee in a can and jam "Flirtin with Disaster" at my funeral, and have my hands attached to an experienced puppeteer who will make my fingers do the devil horns. And there will be strippers.

I know it's a piece of music and not a song per se, but I want to be cremated with my hand sticking out of the casket, and as it wheels down the conveyor belt, I want the music from the end of Terminator 2 when he's being lowered in to the steel to play, and somehow have my hand manipulated into giving a thumbs up just as the last part of the casket goes in to the fire.

I'm not a psychopath. I'm a high-functioning sociopath.

Damn it, that's a brilliant idea!

On another note, this. Sort of fits.

Something from Golden Sun, and my corpse is being reanimated by wires, and it looks like I'm casting psynergy at cardboard cut outs designed to look like enemies. I want to cast pyroclasm from the dead right in front of my family.

I think I first heard that song in SLC Punk. It's definitely better than the original.

Alice in Chains- Whale and Wasp

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3djmDFMRQQ

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us.

I'd want the original dungeon theme or the palace theme from Adventures of Link, I like the ending theme for Zelda 1 too, but can't really think of how it would fit in to a funeral, it's pretty ragtimey.

Daft Punk has been my favorite glorious music makers since my childhood, and Discovery is still my favorite album. I made it through school with songs like "One More Time" and "Short Circuit." I lost my virginity to "Digital Love," for cripes sake! I can't really see a more fitting song for my funeral than "Too Long." Smile

P.S. Interstella 5555 is the shit, people can watch that at my funeral.
