On another forum, an admin accidentally gave me admin access for about a minute. It was noticed just before I was able to do anything fun. I was 15 then; imagine what I could have been doing now.

I'm not a bad enough dude, but I am an edgy little shit. I'll do what I can.

More work? Jeebus I've done mod work before. It's a couple of damn clicks.
Hell I've even tested it with the test forum on this site. It's not that hard to do.

Besides, it's not like you're paid to mod. You're doing volunteer work so don't complain when there's "more work" to do

lol Hacker, Hacker, Hacker...

I'm all for a rating feature of users. If you post something retarded people can take points away from you, if you post something good they can give you points. Everyone starts with 3 points. That gives you 3 strikes. You can only lose points once per post. Sure it could lead to people targeting people they don't like but if you give a point demerit you must supply a reason before it goes into effect.

Just my thoughts on curtailing dumb asses.

There is a chip on your windshield. It's small and out of the waybut could cause the glass to shatter at any moment. You plan to keep the car for many many years. A new windshield is $400. To repair the crack is $20. Do you fix it or leave it?

Whether it's a crack or a new windshield, isn't that always fully covered by every insurance company ever so it doesn't amtter what the cost is?

Only if you pay for that kind of insurance. Basic state minimum doesn't cover it.

Falls under comprehensive coverage. My deductible is $500 so when someone smashed my window I had to pay for it regardless.

If you have full glass coverage it is usually free to have it done without a deductible.

If you live in a place where it snows, you should carry this insurance because rocks will be hitting your windshield regularly.

Recently I had a crack split down the windshield of my car and it was free to have it replaced. They told me that the rule was cracks under 6" are fixed, more than 6" is replaced. The process was easy, and is not counted as an "at fault" claim. No rate hikes will occur to your premiums.
