Mel's screaming "Gimme back my son!" was way better. |
Mel capping that son of a bitch as he's dying of poison at the end of Edge of Darkness was even better.

I agree, this isn't a movie that needed a sequel. Actually a sequel seems like a stretch. As for poor Mel, he may be a drunken racist loon, but Braveheart and Apocalypto were pretty fucking awesome. He should be allowed back into Hollywood if he promises to make more awesome movies and not make any gas chambers!

We can agree to disagree. Ill admit, Braveheart is his best effort, but still,. Apocalypto for me was a breathtaking thrill ride. Each to their own.

I probably like everything he's starred in except for What Women Want. Just not my thing.

What Women Want and Air America are the only things I can think of he's done that I really didn't care for. Signs is fairly terrible too, but it was fun at the time.
Also, that poster is terrible. That does not make me want to see Hangover 2.

I don't like monkeys in movies. It is possible that they are less appealing than child actors to me, so that poster does not make me very hopeful.

I actually didn't mind What Women Want, although I don't remember the second half of the movie, but I have to admit Mel has won me over through a lot of his roles, despite hating him when I was younger.
I agree with the monkey, just another tool to market to people who like small adorable things. $50 says that one of the characters accidentally ends up eating it's poop.

Or having some sort of "encounter" with it.
