I heard that Aksys was going to return to the Guilty Gear 2 series after Blazblue Continuum Shift. I don't think a new Guilty Gear 2D fighter will be anytime soon, but a secret unlockable Guilty Gear character in the next Blazblue would be awesome.

I heard a long time ago that Aksys was thinking of making GG 3D, I'm not really sure about that considering the game is a nod to anime, at least when it's not being one to rock music.
Anyways, if any game I will miss it would be VB Wario Land and Teleroboxer. Why, you ask? Because as quoted by the AVGN, "They're on Virtual Boy". Being a great game on a crappy system can really hurt you, even on the emulator market. I went through every emulator and nothing emulates the games perfectly and most of them don't even have sound, and I absolutely refuse to play a game with no sound. It's more painful in that Nintendo will most likely never release the games on VC or attempt to remake them.

| Also, I miss Guilty Gear. We will probably never see Guilty Gear XXX, or whatever they would chose to call the fourth game in the series. And if we do, Arc System Works would probably not be involved and it would suck. Sega Sammy forced Arc to sell them the IP rights as part of their publishing deal, so Sega Sammy can do whatever they want with the franchise with or without Arc. Sure we have BlazBlue now, but it isn't quite the same. |
really? thats crap. i only played the one on the wii and i thought it was a great fucking game. i want to see more. |
Which one? Accent Core or Accent Core Plus? |

Excellent. Core Plus is so much better. The returns of Kliff and Justice are pretty awesome, but the return of story mode is what really makes it shine.

Yea it was awesome, in spite of all the bugs and glitches. It's also the first game to really do stealth action correctly (those stupid "vision cones" in MGS were fail) |
you can turn those off, you know. |
Yea, but without a camoflauge system it's not really much more fun.

I guess that Blood Wake game sorta counts, but I want another Cobra Triangle. FRY THE MONSTER. I always thought that Fry was the name of every monster, but now I get that fry is the verb.

I miss the Mechwarrior games, Mechwarrior 2 and Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries are really dated plus I've played them to death, MW3 I lost the disc and am too broke to buy a copy of, I got my hands on a free copy of MW4 and so far it plays too arcady and I hate the controls, and if MW5 ever sees the light of day I don't have a computer capable of running modern games. Plus none of my pals are interested in playing the boardgame.

If somebody made a game like Fire 'N Ice (Solomons Key 2) for modern consoles, I'd check it out. I think it was puzzle gaming at its finest among Lola's back in the day. If I only knew that it would get so rare, I probably would've tried to buy it from my friend who had it.
The concept is perfect, graphics are nice, and level design really gets you hooked as it slowly moves from easy to insane. We don't need a remake, as the NES-version is already perfect, but I´d appreciate a sequel (or a game that borrows the concept). If you haven't checked this game out, do it right away by any means nescessary!
(Not to be confused with Fire & Ice from Amiga, which also kicked ass).

Man that game whoops my ass for some reason, I do all right at Lolo, but Fire & Ice confuses and frustrates me.

Castlevania Judgment. The engine might not have been great, but it was the first incarnation of a series. The engine of the original Street Fighter was pretty bad, too. Everybody knows this isn't getting a sequel, which is sad as so many great characters could be introduced for a sequel, like Soma, Albus, Richter, Juste, Maxim, etc.

Yeah, given that Konami has been a fighting game company, Castlevania Judgment was a good first effort. And we might see a sequel. It'd be one of those things where Konami execs are sitting around in a board room and someone says "Hey, we need another Wii game, but let's not spend too much money making it." And then someone suggests Castlevania Judgment 2, because the engine's already been built. So they tweak the gameplay slightly, change the costumes up a little, and a few new characters, and bam, budget title.
