Windows 7 huh.
My laptop I just got last summer came with a free upgrade for Windows 7 when it came out, and now I'm sitting here debating if I want to upgrade or not.
I understand the whole urge for the latest & greatest (my dad is like that) but I'm looking at it from the angle of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." I managed to get all my games working just fine on Vista (after hacking a few of them, what an adventure that was). Everything runs (and runs well!) and I just guess I'm having problems justifying the effort of backing everything up and upgrading to a whole new operating system when I'm functioning fine with the old one.
Does it have some kind of insane panty-wetting features that'll make me see all the effort as worthwhile? I daresay I've finally gotten comfortable with Vista and am a tiny bit sad at the thought of letting it go. :/
I might need to track down GPFontaine for some tech advice on this one. |
It is Vista... Only with all the Vista problems fixed... well a lot of them at least.
You won't notice much in the ways of change as far as structure, but it will be faster, more reliable, and there are a few nice features.
