Well, if you're homeless and broke, McDonald's probably isn't going to hire you. They strongly prefer their employees to bathe daily and have multiple sets of clothes.

The McDonald's I go to has one two retirees looking for some extra cash, the stereotypical lifer/manager guy, and a bunch of high school students. About half the high school kids are the fat, sweaty, barely competent idiots you'd expect them to be, but there are also two very cute girls who work there who are always pleasant and have yet to ever fuck up my order. Too bad they're jailbait.

We're a very charitable society and we do offer things like showers and clean clothing to people who are down on their luck like this. And for that matter, food.
If you're willing to work, you can find a job. And if you're willing to look, you can find the basic resources to help you find a job.
