Mike Alexander, bassist of UK thrash metal band Evile, died in Sweden at age 32. He had a daughter too.
I had Evile on my "List of Bands To Check Out", this is definitely a bummer. He's up there with Cliff (killed in Sweden, too), Jaco, Enwhistle, and others rocking out.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE hall of famer Lou Albano, 76, is now in Hospice care, which is never a good sign.

Sucks. He was always my favorite. What was that wrestling cartoon with him and Rowdy Roddy Piper?

also he was Mario!
it annoyed me as a kid that Lou literally stepped on the fireflower at the end but he didnt change into fire mario so technically they(editors) were either lazy or they just didnt realize it.

Don't forget all the Cyndi Lauper music videos he was in, along with a bunch of the other WWF guys. I hope he can pull through but yeah it doesn't look good.

That's it. That's even the episode I was thinking of at the time. It's such a crappy cartoon, but I ate it up when I was a kid.

Fun Fact: He could have been in Press Start but he wanted too much money. So fuck him, I guess.
He also didn't do the voice of Mario in the cartoon while Danny Wells(Luigi) did
I guess he was a money whore even back then

Actually, Captain Lou DID do the voice of Mario, Super Mario Super Show era. He was replaced around the time they started doing the Mario 3 cartoon. Go back, watch the cartoons, and tell me there's not a HUGE glaring difference between the voices.
Also, the Mario World cartoon, if I may say so respectfully, sucked horrendous balls.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas.

Neither did I. The ones you already thought were dead are always the most shocking when they die.

NOOOOOOOOO!
Kids, in lieu of flowers, please take the little green pieces of paper out of mommy and daddy's purses and wallets, and send them to his family care of Delton's Funeral Home, New York, New York.
