The lowest grade I ever got on something worth as much as a test is a 5 out of 100, from when my geography teacher randomly decided in the middle of class one day that all the notes we took should be worth 100 points. (I don't take notes.) The lowest I ever got on an actual test? 86/100.

Damn, you must have photographic memory or something else nice like that.

How does this work??

Basically, it was the hardest test format ever. It was my Introduction to Sound Recording class which was a lot of fun and I learned a ton, but the tests were friggin impossible. The tests were 100 multiple choice questions, except multiple answers could be correct. So each question had anywhere from 1-4 correct answers, and you had no idea how many there were. There was also NO partial credit, so if a question had 2 answers and you only filled one circle in which was one of the right ones, there was no partial credit.
The class after the test the teacher would hand us all back our Scantron sheets and write all the grades on the board in order, then say "These are the A's, these are the B's, etc.".

Those kind of tests are the worst. I always ended up second guessing all my answers on tests like that.

I actually like multiple choice tests, depending on the subject. If the subject is something I'm good at, then I prefer filling in your own answers because I usually know enough to get at least partial credit on anything I don't know for sure. If it's something I'm clueless about, then I prefer multiple choice.

A regular mulitiple choice test is great, but the kind of multiple choice test he is talking about is not the same though. Essentially with the type of mulitple choice test he is referring to if you have four choices your odds of guessing if you are unsure is 1 in 15.
