How much does Half-life 1 cost in-store normally?

Dunno about that. I do know that it's cheap as dirt on steam, check out www.steampowered.com if you wanna pick it up online, but you'd need a credit card for that. I have a spare account you could use if you want to try out The Specialists and stuff like Counterstrike with me.

At the end of this month, I'll have an extra $150 on me, so I'll check out my FPS options and update you on what happens.

PS: If this tells you anything, I can run Command & Conquer Renegade on this computer very easily.

I don't have a DS sadly, I want to get one bad for Dawn of Sorrow. I've played a lot of it on a friend's DS, but I don't have one of my own.

I'm sorry, but goldeneye may have been fun back in 1994, but it's hardly the end all FPS that everyone makes it out to be. many much better games have come and gone already.

as far as atari goes, it sucked. hard. the only reason it was even so popular is because it was all that people really had at the time.I could go back to my NES or gameboy and still find outdated games that are fun to play, or enjoyable for a nostalgia factor. I can't think of anyhtign on atari worth playing nowadays.

Goldeneye was the tits in 1994. I used to play it all the time. My friends was come over and they'd be like, holy shit, where did you get a game like that? And I was like, from the future, bitches! You'll have to wait until 1997 to play this!

I played 007 the other day on a real n64, the archives mission. You know the one, where you have to slap the two idiots then grab your gun off the table? I had a blast. It's still a good game, damn it.

Halo's good, but Goldeneye is a classic. Thank god for N64 Emulators, like Project64!

I can't play Goldeneye except on the real N64; it just seems better that way.

Well, yeah, it is. You don't have to deal with frame-rate issues, other programs monopolizing your computer's resources, how good your graphics card is (especially if you have an older computer), small screen size, quality of the ROM, your computer crashing, virusies, and techno nerds who want to ogle your computer like it's some hot chick (normally if you're playing in a public place). On the other hand, there are good points. I just can't think of them right now.

On a side note, they should remake Goldeneye (N64 version) for Nintendo DS. All of the same gameplay, better graphics, and you would be able to have your inventory and mission objectives right on the touch screen (or the top screen, depending on how the game is set up).

I remember on weekends and during the summers, my friends and I would have Goldeneye marathons. Like 10 hours straight from dusk til dawn.

Back in 2000, my friend and I used to play perfect dark and WWF 2000 while getting trashed on cheap 40 oz malt liquor and eating this awesome deep dish home-made pizza...those were the days

I remember the good ol' days where we played Goldeneye and Perfect Dark until we had blurred vision. Games seem to have gone slowly downhill since then.

I remember when I used to go down to the local community center and have Street Fighter tournaments on the beat-up SNES the center had. We did get an N64 in once, but it was stolen within a week. Thieving bastards! Mad

I have that beast! It's fun online.

Me and my cousin and a friend played 007 almost everyday after school until we all went off on our own to play Xenogears, then PD came out adn we continued the aforementioned for about 3 months. It just didn't have the staying power to us as 007 but still a damn good game, I still play it.

I wanna try PD 0 but I keep hearing it sucks.

Be sure to get the DS lite, the backlit screen makes the games look like candy. And castlevania is fine fine indeed. The next one will be very good too.

Black and pink DS Lites come to US the 14th, which si pretty cool. I'd sell off my DS and get a black Lite but my DS is kind of cool already, as its from japan and it's black.

Anyway, September 14th is also supposed to be the day Nintendo holds a press conference. Some people think it'll be the announcement of the street date and price for the Wii, while others are beginning to think it will be a declaration that the Wii will be even more powerful than originally thought.

One other note, apparently Europe will soon be getting the MP3 player accessory for their DSs that the Japanese have. No word yet on if North America will be getting it.
