I hope the economy stays in the tank for the next ten years. I really do. Because people will stop buying DLC and it will force companies to make more complete games. It will also bring an unceremonious end to the era of $60 games. Also, it will force companies to stop spending tens of millions of dollars and dozens of months rendering photorealistic graphics.


I hope that the economy leads to programmers losing jobs and thinking of creative ways (other than viruses) to spend their time. Rise from the ashes of this failed financial situation and be born into the birth of a new better gaming company!!!

You got that right, brother. MDK was the fucking shit. But of course my favorite era for PC games was between 1990 and 1999.
