First of all, to Undeath, you don't have anybody beat. Did you miss the ones who said they watched Project Runway and Next Top Model? Quantum Leap was awesome. It was one of my favorite shows at the time it was on. There is no shame in watching it. I was a big fan of Wings also.
lordsathien, I used to watch the shit out of Silk Stalkings.

Wings was amazing. Thomas Hayden Church is criminally overlooked.
To keep with the topic, I really don't think I have any shows I hate admitting I watch. Some people wouldn't want to admit watching Jackass (especially given the recent Sydapedia entry, mmh?), but I'm not. I love it (but the movies were much better), but I can see why people wouldn't like it. To each his own.

I've been the victim of Jackass-like stunts. The show leaves a sour taste in my mouth. But the taste is figurative, unlike the literal tastes left in the mouths of the show's stars.
But anyway...Grey's Anatomy. I haven't watched it in a long time, but I have the first 3 seasons on DVD.

You know, the first season really wasn't that bad. Then it just got ridiculous. Team Rocket's attempts to nab Pikachu just got stupider and stupider.
I doubt anyone would be ashamed of this, but I still love Dragon Ball/Z, even if it drags like no other. They called it Drag-On Ball Z for a reason.

I actually re-watched some episodes of DBZ a few weeks ago.

I'm really not, but this is the first time it has been mentioned in the forums so I assumed that no one liked it.

I actually like it. I just never watch it because I watch so many other things. I actually have it on my Netflix waiting list. Numbers is also a show I like but never get to watch.

Only because whenever my friends and I go drinking, they make gay jokes about it at my expense.
Such as "I bet you'd love it if he leapt into your butthole."
And then... even my wife will say "Yeah, I'll bet he would." Thanks, hun. *coughBITCHcough* Heh.
Seriously, I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with reality TV aside from the obvious, because it does serve a purpose, and that purpose is shutting off your brain and watching a television trainwreck. I admit full on that I watched more than I care to admit of shit like The Surreal Life and Flavor Of Love.
AND... It's awesome that I can come somewhere and be considered awesome over Quantum Leap. Shit never seems to happen in real life.

I don't care what anyone says. Quantum Leap is the shit. One of my favorite shows. Sure its corny, but it also has a very good heart, which is something sorely lacking in most shows today. Scott Bakula can be a great actor when he wants to be, too. Sam from QL and John Archer from Star Trek: Enterprise are two of my fictional heroes.

The first couple episodes of American Idol each season, I find the try outs to be entertaining because of the reactions of hte kids that think they are good but aren't.
Real World: Brooklyn, not sure if that should be embarassing or not, there is a trans gendered girl/guy in it this time.

I am very vocal about my hate for reality television. I don't mind that people do like it and I won't give anyone shit who likes it.
BUT, my biggest complaint is that shows like Jericho get cancelled. Or a show like Traveler, which grabbed my attention, gets canned after like 6 or 8 epidosdes or something like that. Now I'll never know what happens. In the mean time a show like The Biggest Loser stays on for multiple seasons. Other great shows get cancelled, not because they aren't good enough, but because nobody watches them because they are too busy watching reality tv.
I don't understand how somebody would rather watch a bunch of heavy set people try and lose weight rather than watch a thriller with mystery, suspense, plot twists, and such. Like I said, I don't have a problem with those who do, but it pisses me off that because of shit like that, good stuff gets hosed.
As far as your friends go, I have friends like that too. I'm guessing they haven't actually watched it. I'll bet if they actually watched it, they would like it too. I'm also guessing, they won't even give it a chance because they think other people would give them the same kind of shit that they give you.
It reminds me of my buddy who, when I told him Breakfast Club was in my top 5 all time, says to me, "What are your other favorite movies, Sixteen Candles and the Notebook?"
First, I know what he is doing. He is thinking Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall, so he thinks Sixteen Candles, So then, by the name and because of the main character, he thinks its a chick flick. When he thinks chick flick, he thinks Notebook. But if he had actually watched Sixteen Candles, he would know it is more of an American Pie type of movie filled with crude humor. Maybe if he would have said Pretty in Pink, he may have sounded like less of a moron. Probably not.
Anyways, this is what you get when people don't know what they are talking about.

I don't have any problem with American Idol. American Idol gave us throwback artists like Bo Bice and Taylor Hicks. The only problem is they got hosed after the show because either they didn't fit in with the other stuff on the pop radio stations, or some jackoff tried to change their sound to fit those radio stations.

I'm 100% with you there. I won't give people shit for it (unless I know them and its a joke or something), but I loathe it myself.
"Firefly" was the baby I started to love that got the axe. God dammit I loved that show. Sci fi + western = epic win. At least they finally came out with a movie to kinda wrap things up though. I'm lucky that way. Most fans of canceled shows don't even get that.

What pisses me off is that with as many channels that are out there, is that nobody picks up some of these shows once they are cancelled.
I personally wish that shows wouldn't get cancelled mid-season. Think of all the great shows that were at one time in danger. Cheers is a good example. They were close to being cancelled then went on to be one of the best sitcoms of all time. Shows like that wouldn't survive today because networks would be too quick to give them the axe.
I never did watch Firefly. But I think maybe I will now because sci-fi + western = something I think I need to see.

Firefly is an awesome show and you shouldn't be ashamed!
You should (I should) however, be ashamed of liking Ben 10 Alien Force and The Hills.

I watch a lot of semi-embarassing stuff.
For example, I watch Ben 10 regularly. I also have about 100 episodes of various seasons of Power Rangers on VHS that I still watch. To top that off, I have Japanese DVDs of Kamen Rider.
