I haven't really had the chance to get to know you, but I do understand somewhat what you're going through. I wish like hell that instead of bailing out Wall Street, Bush would have bailed out all of the american people. Good luch with everything, I wish you the best and look forward to maybe getting to know you later on. Take care and good luck!!!!!

Man, it's so nice to realize how many people care here, as opposed to real life, where I have had to cut contact with most of the people I considered "friends".

Sydlexia has been my home for six months, and believe it or not is the ONLY page I have bookmarked in my browser. As of yesterday, I got a job, cut my hair, and shaved even!

It's gonna be rough I know, but I have been sober from multiple substances for one week and counting, and am looking forward to busting my ass at work and etching a new groove in the marble of life. Heh.

Many thanks, and appreciation to everyone here, and I'll see you guys hopefully around spring or summertime.

You and me both man. I'm on Suboxone maintenance to combat my opioid addiction. I've been completely sober besides drinking a couple times for 4 months now. The key is attending NA/AA meetings and dropping all drug-related contacts. Just live life man. I know it's hard without that crutch, but it is so worth it. And it becomes easier with time.

Hang in there bro, you can do it.
