Whatever you do, don't move to Michigan. The scenery is nice, especially in the UP, but the economy is anything but. Scary.

It hardly ever rains in Chilliwack. And I can actually see the U.S. from my house (in the form of mountains. I'm only a few miles from the border.

And no I haven't been to NYC, but I hopefully will this summer. I've never been anywhere really, except to Seattle and Bellingham a few times, to Disneyland when I was 3 (right after the Rodney King riot) and other than that, I've always stayed within 300km of my house.

If you move here you'll have to drop that demonic metric system.

In all of my experiences, nothing has ever been as big of a "wow" as NYC.

It is especially amazing if you take the train in. When you exit Grand Central, the sky seems so far away.

It is worth a trip just to see it.

Oh no doubt!

And for the record, I meant to say that it hardly ever snows in Chilliwack. It's always fucking raining.

I think a tour of the northeast would be a great thing for Young Ross here. No I don't pass out on my toilet, but after it's leaving in that part of the agenda. I'm not Elvis, at least not yet.
