Although I can't remember WHY I was doing that research.

I voted "other". More specically, I was looking up RegalSin here after hearing that name pop up on Sega-16.

If I remember correctly it was an Erin esurance hentai search

Then another month later same thing but I stayed to read the FWSE's and then some articles a link to love being one if not the first

...then that day came when I joined the forums. But we would all like to forget that hellish week

"Other."

I was downloading roms left and right and wanted to be at least a LITTLE bit discriminatory about it, so I googled "Top 100 NES games."

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas.

December 2006. I was getting a Streets of Rage vibe, and decided to do some research on the second game for some unknown reason. Then I came across Syd's SoR1 review.

I came here way back in '05 for the Mortal Kombat Fatalities thingy, It was still the newest article when I discovered the place. Don't recall how exactly I stumbled upon it.

I've been compiling an awesome game collection since about 2002, when I came across a brand new NES for $20. Mind you, I grew up playing the system, however I never had my own since my mother believed video games rotted your brains, however recanted in 1994 when I got my SNES. However, I still always loved going over to my friends' houses and playing Legend of Zelda or Mega Man.

Anyways, I've amassed over 200 NES games in the last several years, but was becoming more and more curious about what was out there that I wasn't familiar with. I googled "top NES games" and this site came up. Without sounding like too much of a kiss ass, this was easily the most legit list I saw, almost every other list was about 20 games that included Mario, Metroid, Zelda and not much else. I looked over the list and added a few games that I never thought to check out such as "A Boy and His Blob" and you're right...those caverns suck. I also poked around here and came across an article on "Whomp Em" which I also picked up since it's a Mega Man rip off, but I still had fun with it...outside of that last level which had some of the WORST music I've ever heard and the bouncy floor SUCKED. Anyways, I decided to stop lurking and finally joined here when I grew impatient waiting for the next update after the Printmaster one.

I checked for it at a local video store to rent, not to be found. Is it a remake or what? Because if the games consists of soley what was in the NES version, then I'll pass.

FWSE. Don't know what I was searching, but it linked me to one of them. After that, it took me about two weeks to realize this site had a forum too. And articles.

First article I read was the Adventure Island one, then I looked at the forum and registered 1 or 2 days later.
