videogames were made at the core to be ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS. when a game comes along that ENTERTAINS YOU, it's doing it's job.
games like rock band ENTERTAIN people. hell, I knwo a couple who palyed it at my house, had so much fun that they ran out and bought it the next day, and it helped save their marriage (no joke).
