As usual, some recommended emulators would be helpful. What's out there, what records video, what plays most of the games, and what is that on your head?

SNES9X is my emu of choice. It's multiplatform so that's a plus and it records video.

I say once per year if each one will last 10 weeks. 20 weeks is nearly half the year. I don't want to put that much time into these challenges.

i will probably be down, except i need to fix my PC first. and get a controller for roms. what controller do you guys use? and i havent seen that USB cable at wal mart for the PS2 controller.

I plan on buying a controller for it. The SNES controller is much more about hte ease and feel of it while you're playing since you have to handle 4 more buttons.

If we do each one once a year the SNES challenge would fall on or around November 25th. As I said it's your guys/girl call. PS3 controllers work awesome with the emulators. SEE there is a point to having a PS3.
