Batman, cause im a batman nerd/geek.
I also never played the Superman game, and I think Superman is an overpowered pussy lol.
and I never managed to beat Batman either. Always got to the last boss right before the joker but could never beat that guy.

SUPERMAN DAT HO
In all seriousness, Even though Batman's hit detection was a little on the shaky side, it wins. I also liked the the sequel (Return of the Joker) even though the premise of Batman using a gun is weird.

And Batman wins in anoher Godzilla vs. Bambi-type situation. Not what I envisioned, but that's life.

From the 8-bit: A port of a continuous overhead drivng arcade game featuring firepower and the ability to change into a speedboat.
From the 16-bit: A game that intoduced RPG elements to its long-since-established series.
Go nuts. That's all I have to say.

The NES version of Spy Hunter was kinda terrible, so SAI2 for the win.

Super Adventure Island II by far.
It was better than EVERY Wonderboy Game released (except for maybe the third one, the Dragon's Trap on the Master System).
The ending for the game is pretty great, Master Higgins is such a playboy. "Tina! Are you okay? You're looking great!" "Oh Higgins! You chubby hunk of blubber!"

I definately throw my vote to SUper Advernture Island 2, but what is up with that ending. Did anyone else notice that Tina's hair went from brunette to blond in the blink of a cutscene, only to go back to brunette at the end. Yikes.

From the 8-bit: A surprisingly decent Bandai game with a laughable premise and a plethora of bosses.
From the 16-bit: A side-scrolling installment of an adventure series that served to introduce this side of the Pacific to the franchise.
It's a good thing Syd officially took this spot away from Bill & Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure. Otherwise, this would be waaaaaaaay too easy for option 2.

I never played Monster Party but I read the review on this website and it looks like a decent time.
I played Y's III on the Sega Channel ages ago, but only for a very small bit, so i dont remember the game entirely.
so I vote for MP just because of the review here

I expected more of this particular poll, but Monster Party wins.

From the 8-bit: A chess game where the pieces actually do battle.
From the 16-bit: The adventure of a young scientist through an alien world.
Once again, I don't have anything to say other than "Go nuts."

Battle Chess was pretty cool on the PC, not so much on the NES.

Tell me about it, so far it looks like I was the only vote for it.

Another Godzilla vs. Bambi-type situation as Out Of This World all but obliterates Battle Chess. Good thing Tebot remembered to vote at the last minute, or the obliteration would've been total.

From the 8-bit: A hybrid real-time/turn-based RPG set across different time periods in Arabia.
From the 16-bit: A puzzle game where players must mix and match ever-increasing numbers of different-colored blocks.
One has a loyal cult following, the other's stolen many a life. I'd like to see how this one turns out.

Tetris attack only cause i have no trouble playing it over and over whereas w/scheharazade, I have to get in the mood to play that type of game, and running it off an emulator is a hassle. Even w/the VC i probably would have to be in the mood to play that game, whereas tetris attack doesnt have that complaint.

Being as I was instrumental in The Magic Of Scheherazade's inclusion on the NES list, I've gotta go with it. Also, it's one of my favorite lost gems of the NES.
