Fuck the DS and its two tiny screens.
Final Fantasy IV in 3D is too awesome for a mother fucking small screen. |
You're insane in the membrane. It's still awesome. |
It should die a miserable melting death in the burning pits of hell. Fuck the Developers' System/Dual Screen. I hate you DS.... I hate you....

I agree w/Bomberman, the DS does kick all kinds of ass. The screens could be bigger, but they are fine the way they are.

You have problems. Do you know how portable a PSP is? Not very.

Another reason the PSP is a joke as a videogame system: all the 'original' titles for the PSP get ported to the PS2.

I figured this would be the best thread to post this since it has to do w/the wiimote:

Playing computer games such as the Nintendo Wii can improve a surgeon's performance in the operating theatre, a US study shows.
Only certain games are effective - those requiring delicate movements.
The fine hand control required to play these games acts as a warm up and hones scalpel skills the Banner Good Samaritan Medical Centre team claim.
Now they are designing Wii software that will accurately simulate surgical procedures, New Scientist reports.
They asked eight trainee surgeons to spend an hour playing the games on a console before performing "virtual reality" surgery on a computer system. |

And I've recently played off the wii and the wiimote is interesting. It's sensitive as hell though, i swear mario spins at the slightest motion of the wiimote. It take some getting use to.

If you really want to see sensitive/responsive, play either of the Trauma Center games for the Wii, there's one mission near the end of the first game that I simply can't clear if I'm nervous because my hands shake.

Pfff, amateur. |
The Wiimote takes some time, but in the end I like it a lot better when it is correctly used.
By the way, I think I'm at around 95 stars or so in Mario. I have completed two trial galaxies.

in soul calibur legends I have to be very precise about the angle that I swing the wiimote at, and the speed at which it gets swung to do different moves. it's gay.

Fighting games need significantly more precision that waving a wand around like some kind of fairy can afford.

Guilty Gear supports the wavebird and the classic controller though, so that's a moot point. And actually, the Wii controls are unfair because they're too easy. Want to do a special move? Just press a direct on the D-Pad. Want to do your insta-kill? Press a couple of buttons and shake the remote. Congratulations! You win. But if you have a PS2, you could get that version of Accent Core for $10 less than the Wii one.
But I'm really hoping Accent Core Plus gets an American release on the Wii. I need Story Mode, dammit!

I would have bought a classic controller then and there if I knew this. the back of the box says NOTHING about supporting those. I agree about the wii controls sounding too easy for mashers as well. someone who doesn't really care could easily swing teh remote around wildly, doing special after special, while an actual palyer would be sitting there trying to fumble through the awkward controls to do actual moves.
is this game on nintendo wi fi? if so, I may have to get it to challenge someone.

I heard they discontinued the Wavebird a while back?
Also on the topic of Mario Galaxy I finished it for Mario, working on it with Luigi now.
What the fuck were they on when they decided to have Luigi rescue himself?
