Um, so yeah, don't listen to my picks, because I apparently don't know squat. Out of a possible 105 pts., I got 43 this week. Thankfully the average score in my office was 47.5, so everyone else sucked to. In fact, the winner only scored 62. Anyway, here's what I'm chosing this week, but put no stock in it, as the NFL surprises us each and every week:

14 - Indy over TB
Indy at home versus the Bucs? Easy choice

13 - Dallas over Buffalo
The only thing that can beat the Cowboys right now is a high-powered offense to destroy their vulnerable defense. The Bills aren't it.

12 - Titans over Falcons
Titans are doing well even though they're one dimensional, and the Falcons suck.

11 - Pats over Cleveland
Easy choice. The only reason it isn't higher is because of the Browns' recent offensive successes under Derek Anderson

10 - NYG over NYJ
Okay, they both suck, but the Giants suck considerably less. Eli doesn't seem to be hurt, and Derrick Ward has been a capable backup RB(although he'll now be splitting touches with returning Brandon Jacobs)

9 - NO over Carolina
Ok, this is an interesting one. Carolina's defense sucks, Delhomme's injured, leaving them with just Carr at QB. Last week they tried to rely on the air game, to no success and to Steve Smith's anger. They really should try to run the ball more this time with Foster and Williams. For NO, they've been offensively anemic, but after a bye week it's time to rebound, and Carolina's a good opportunity for that.

8 - 'Skins over Detroit
The Redskins have impressed me, and I'm positive that the Lions are worse than their record indicates. Beating the Vikings, and an injured Bears' defense and their interception happy QBs doesn't take much.

7 - Broncos over Chargers
Denver's a decent team, and their at home against a struggling SD team. While it might be time for the Chargers to bounce back, Denver seems to be a decent mid-confidence pick.

6 - Bears over GB
Ok, this is a total emotional pick. But I hate the Packers, and I'm convinced they've become overconfident because of their easy schedule. I concede that they'll probably win the division, but it will be the same as our divisional victory on '01 - solely because they have an easy schedule. For us, Griese will hopefully get all the rust out, and maybe some of our defense will come off of the injured list.

5 - Seahawks over Steelers.
Tough pick. Two resurgent teams. Even though the Steelers' schedule has been easy, they've been putting together some good defensive games, and they're at home. With the WR and TE injuries for Pittsburgh though, I can see the Seahawks taking this.

4 - 49ers over Ravens
Two capable teams. The Niners should be looking to recover from their recent losses, and the Raven's defense just looks awful.

3 - Houston over Miami
Houston's injuries are devastating, but it shouldn't take much to get past Miami

2 - KC over Jaguars
Another tough one. Two slightly good teams, but KC is probably a step better.

1 - Arizona over St. Louis
I'm not impressed by either team, but the Rams are total ass right now, and the Cards have shown some potential - not much but some.
