This might pariah me like it always does, but I like "gangsta" rap (more underground violent stuff like brother lynch hung, not the puff daddy 50 cent stuff) and death\black\ metal \grind core. I just really like violent mindless angry hateful irresponsible \ immature music. I play guitar and stick to a lot of fast metal riffs, and have always had his retarded idea to mix gangster rap with death metal, I know it sounds crazy but think about it.
1 they both have little to no social value and are usually offensive to a large chunk of people.
2 They both usually are abrasive to the ear if you are new to them
3 They both usually contain imagery that is either violent, misogynistic, uneducated etc, and many contain all three themes at once.

The problem is that I cant think of any decent way to merge the two styles sound wise without it making absolutely no sense to the ears.

Plus most people who like metal hate rap and vice versa and if I perfect it enough for it to make sense with all the tempo changes and switches back and forth and cross fading of live instruments to prerecorded beats(and get enough rappers and metal people to agree long enough to play together) there will be absolutely no one who will want to listen to it Confused

I can hear what it'd sound like in my head, and thats probably not a good thing.

What you're describing sounds like what Necro's been doing for a while:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necro
Even calls it "death rap".
He recently left the Sounds of the Underground due the audience not receiving him well, so that should tell you what metal fans thing of rap, and vice versa. No offense to you, of course. To me, mixing rap and metal is analogous to the following scenario:
Metalhead (represented by Twisted Evil ) walks along the street, eating corn on the cob and headbanging to a mixtape of Helloween and Kreator. Rapper (represented by Cool) walks along the street, eating ice cream, and jamming to a mixtape of Common and Public Enemy. The two run into each other and pick up their food, which has fallen to the ground.
Twisted Evil Metalhead: Dude, you got ice cream on my corn!
Cool Rapper: Dawg, you got corn on my ice cream!
*Both eat their foods, before spitting them out*
Evil Shocked Both: Tastes terrible!

That's how I describe the melding of metal and rap. Take two things that are good on their own, merge them, and it does not work well. And I just picked two foods at random, for the record.

P.S. In case anyone's wondering, this post is derived from a bit from Doug Benson when I saw him on an episode of VH1's "Best Week Ever", whenver I actually watched that show. Looking back on it, it sucked ass. Damn, most of VH1 sucks ass nowadays...
