Maybe you should cash in on the Anime boom right now, and call it "Neo Mega Happy Super Fun Game Store Supreme Go!"

I'm also against the "Anonymous" name. I'd feel shameful every time I walked in... like I just punched my girlfriend in the face and then made her write me a check for $500.
How about (but not really):
Gamers Outer Heaven
Mega Store Plus
Gamesville
Games Not Gaines
Games Ate My Balls
or even:
You're Down There, We're Up Here, You Just Walked Into The Wrong Goddamn Store

"Game Over"
Or, you could simply call it "The Game" and have pictures of Triple H everywhere.

Game Over would be the sign you put in the window either when you're closed or go out of business.
You could call yourself "Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B,A,B,A, Select, Start", but use arrows instead of the words.
You could always take the simplistic route and call yourself "The Video Game Store" or something. There'd be absolutely no debate as to what you sold, and you could have a little tagline or something mentioning how you have everything from pong on. That or make the logo look super badass and say "This ain't your daddy's pong". I guess my point is that I like pong.

While pong is great and all and it pretty much revolutionized the gaming community I don't think I could find it to sell it. However I do like the idea of a Game Over sign for being closed. And Game On is pretty catchy, even The Video Game Store could work out well, I guess I'll give up on the Gamers Anonymous name.
Here's the commercial we did. Animated Clerks reference...

I wonder how many people saw that commercial and had no idea what was going on.
And THANK YOU for including the bear ^_^

Well we were going to shoot it a couple months ago but do to my intentions of opening up my own store, we decided not to. That was me in the Bear Costume. It sucked major ass.

Or the Rapper.
You guys are the most creative bunch of people I have ever encountered. I need a couple more though, I want to hold a vote on here, (holding the most pull), and one amongst the random public.

PlayNation sounded kinda cool. May try GameNation, or GamerNation. The Game Station?

Okay, I'll try to think of some serious ideas:
The Gamers Republic
Nation Of Games
It's All Fun and Games...
Gamer's Revolution
Super Gaming Bros.
Outer Heaven (I would soooo name my own store this.)
The Digital Dojo
Gamer of The Free World
Games, Games, Games!
Press Start
1Up (Using this one would get you listed first in the Phonebook!)
Game Exchange
Bonus Level
Negitive World
I'm Sorry But Our Princess Is In Another Store
Warp Zone
Game Game Revolution
Game Hero
Evolution Of Games
Pong To The Future
If It's A Game, Its Here
(And Finally:)
Not Gamestop! (We give good trade-in prices, and know what we are talking about!)

Ditto. I mentioned that above as a "gag" name, but know what? I kinda dig it. But I think some people would think it was a Satanist store.
Press Start
Let the lawsuit BEGIN!!
I'm Sorry But Our Princess Is In Another Store
That's a tagline.
Game Hero
Some would say that's a "trendy" name and would require a name change down the road, but those people obviously never played any video game in which you are a hero.
Not Gamestop!
Perfect. |

Outer Heaven sounds cool and thanks Knyte there are definitly a lot of probable ones in there, but no around here would understand the meaning of outer heaven. I am looking for a name that would be very easy to design and very easy to make a commercial based off the name.
Like for gamers Anonymous the employees would wear "Hi my name is" name tags and the commercial would resemble an Anonymous meeting with everyone sitting in a circle. I can think of some things with 1 up, and if Dark Maze promised not to sue my ass press start would be very cool. I still like a lot of your suggestions and the list keeps getting bigger I definitly appreciate everyones efforts to help me out with this.
I don't know if anyone has opened or knows anyone that opened a store but naming it is probably the most important thing above all. Cause it sticks with you the entire way. Please keep the names coming as I have yet to decide on one so the discount is still fair game. Think of Gamestops lowest price only lower and then take another 30% off that.

Perhaps something like:
Gaming Replay or Replay (Since trade-ins are accepted)
Gaming Sanctuary
Games 'R Us (Joking)
Gaming Delight (Sounds more like a cheesy porno, though)
Gaming Vision
I can't think of anything good, sorry.

Hahaha! No lawsuit, I promise, as long as you didn't use our logo.
But I smell a tie-in. Count Vile at the ribbon cutting ceremony? Oh yeah.

That would be awesome!!! I'd sell the shit out of your movie. If everything goes well we'll be opening about the same time as your movie comes out.
