Konami is an iffy one. They're one of the few engine-building Japanese devs/pubs, and they're really hedging their bets on their new engine coming up.

THQ can go either way. Midway either produced crap or milked old franchises. THQ lost money of licensed games and dumb gimmick games, but their serious series like Dawn of War and Company of Heroes sell well. I think they're either going to shape up and go hardcore or die out.

True but Konami's really only standing leg is Hideo, they played smart and realeased metal gear on xbox to save them but from recent titles and almost killing the silent hill franchise I doubt they'll last on the next generation consoles.
