You better work on your sword drill. I practice with a wood baseball bat so it makes the sword seem light when maneuvering. As for your salute, I will quote a what I heard a old Gunnery Sergeant tell a Lieutenant when the Lt. asked the Gunny why he didn't get a salute in passing:
"O-4 and above, devil dog; O-4 and above."
