Dude, hardly anyone in this thread is under 25, shut up. And yes, that game sucked major cock and balls.

| That pod racer game was fun, and that's probably the most recent one I've played. I guess Super Star Wars, since out of the 3 SNES games, that's the only one I came even close to beating. |
Empire was difficult (I still haven't come close to beating it), Jedi was a pain in the ass, I beat the Emperor and was excited as hell, then I am told I have to escape from the Death Star in the Millenium Falcon while fire is always at my ass? WTF?
The hardest part of the original Super Star Wars was the first Han level, that machine boss at the end with 30 million different parts to destroy was a bitch.
The pod racer game was actually fun. Plus it went down to like $10 after a few weeks of being out.
But KOTOR is the best. 2 was fun too.

Star Wars: Battlefront II is my favorite.
Playing as Heros and Villains, how it throws you into the middle of a massive battle(not a new idea even when it came out). It's the flavor of Star Wars that really makes it fun for me.
Hard to beat cutting down 2 or 3 Jedi with one swipe as Vader.

I am definitely a fanboy for Shadows of the Empire. It was the first N64 game I got, and the cinematic nature of it blew my mind. Also, Dash Rendar is a sweet protagonist.
Even though it's sorta clunky as hell, I love it, and the different levels and worlds are fun.
And yea, username. The pod racing game on N64 is a lot of fun as well, I spent a shitload of time playing that game, unlocking most everything.

Rebel Assault 1 & 2 were fun until you realized everything was on rails and rather crappy. And it messed up canon, your nameless character actually blew up the Death Star, not Luke Skywalker!

They should have made a Point and Click Star Wars game like the old Sierra games, ala Space Quest. Lots of puzzles and storytelling and shit, that could have been rad.

I probably played the first Battlefront game the most out of any SW game. It was so easy to jump into so you could get a quick game in before class.
KOTOR was a great game but I hated the interface. I didn't get to play it until years after it came out so maybe that had something to do with it.
I played the shit out of Dark Forces. It's pretty much lost all replay ability on me, but that was one of my favorite games for a long time.

I used to be scared shitless of the wampas in Shadows of the Empire by the way, the combination of how unstoppable they were along with how they fucked you up in one or two swings had me running away like a little girl after I let them out in Echo Base. I didn't know the cheat that let you lead them like a king at the time!

Geeze people, nobody mentioned the Star Wars Trilogy Arcade? That was like the best game ever.
And compared to the old Star Wars arcade game, it shone even brighter. This time the trench run actually looked like a trench run, and not a wireframe mess.
Trench run sounds awfully dirty.

And that one rock wampa on Gall that just pops out of a tiny slit of a cave as you're trying to navigate narrow ledges and mauls you? Thanks Lucasarts...

The one made by Sega? That thing was awesome. Too bad nobody near where I lived carried it, so I've only ever played it once.
Favorites have to be KOTOR, Rogue Leader, and Super Star Wars.

The only Star Wars game I can remember playing for an extensive amount of time was on the N64 and involved a level where you were in the sewers and got attacked by giant jellyfish like things. Scared the living piss out of me. Never played that game again.

KOTOR, Rogue Squadron, Jedi Outcast, and Shadows of the Empire are all great games, for all of the reasons above.
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga for Xbox 360 is definitely for younger audiences, but is also pretty fun, if you have a second player handy, that is.
