I agree with this as well. Zelda started as a 2D game, and should stay that way. Just like Castlevania, which simply isn't Castlevania, when it is in 3D.

I think the 2D and 3D ones are both amazing, I play Link's Awakening, Link To the Past, and The Minish Cap for nostalgia, and OoT, and TP whenever I wanna experience the future of the series.

I guess ya'll be one of the people that'll eat up the upcoming Phantom Hourglass for DS

Hell, SOtN, Portrait, Aria of Sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow, they all fucking rule! I love Castlevania!

Ah, I remember this project from like 3 years ago. The guy used to have a site for this project, but it went down one day and I assumed that the project stopped with it. It's great to know that it didn't.

For the record, LttP is my favorite Zelda game followed very closely by OoT. Since OoT there hasn't been a Zelda game that's come anywhere close to the classic ones.

You know, it occurs to me that Ocarina is basically just LTTP in 3D: Collect three things by beating three dungeons to earn the Master Sword and the ability to travel between two parallel world, then beat a bunch more dungeons to earn the right to face Ganon. Ocarina in 2D is basically just a LTTP hack.
