With all those repsonsibilities i'd recommend playing D&D with the wife. Or some other game/activity that you find fun, aside from sex. League of Legeion is an alright MMO, but it's not an RPG MMO. Just 45min Player vs. Player matches. LoTRO went free but it's time consuming.

As a busy guy myself, I would suggest avoiding MMO's with a subscription fee for the same reasons others have stated. Or better yet, avoid MMO's altogether and just go with regular RPG's. Playing with human players has its disadvantages: you'd have to join guilds if you really want to have multiplayer enjoyment, you'd have to accepted into guilds, some guild members can be elitist while others can be totally retarded and it can sometimes be a hassle to deal with real people whereas an AI NPC is programmed to know what you need.

I've always enjoyed playing Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance with my brother or even by myself.

Kingdom of Loathing. It's free, hilarious, and ridiculously enjoyable and I am coming up on my six-year anniversary as a member. If you like pop culture even minutely, you must give this a try. It's an RPG text-based stick figure RPG with more content than most other games you've played. After all, it's been around for like 8 or 9 years now, and new content drops almost every week.

Actually I'd recommend this game to pretty much every single person who visits this page.
