Yeah but everyone likes Ghostbusters, I mean is there really anyone who didn't like it?

Agreed, however I'm sure a lot of people didn't like Ghostbusters 2.

Yup, Ghostbusters is in a league of its own.

Number 2 is Princess Bride. Gotta love that classic Cary Elwes sarcasm.

Yeah, I'm surprised it took this long for someone to mention Princess Bride. Also, I thought Star Trek II - IV were good.

Raiders of the Lost Ark would be up there for me. I'd include The Last Crusade, but that came out in '90.

Holy shit yeah, Raiders of the Lost Ark too! I still think Temple of Doom was better than Last Crusade.

I forgot to mention A Fish Called Wanda. Classic film with the Monty Python guys. Shit, the eighties were clearly the best decade for movies.

Man, I really did not like Temple of Doom. I rewatched it again recently and I just don't think it's that great. Last Crusade is probably the most rewatchable for me of the three.

FB's Day off is legendary John Hughes, and since John Hughes was the 80's FB's Day off is awesome. I also like They Live and Big Trouble.

Labyrinth is a great movie Smile

The Karate Kid series as well. Sure 2 and 3 weren't as good as 1, but at least we have those sequels.

I just don't think I share the same love for the Karate Kid movies. I actually thought they were a joke. But that's probably because I've done martial arts for almost 20 years and thought the Karate Kid series gave martial arts a bad name. However if I had no experience in martial arts I'd probably look at those movies and think they were okay.
