Majora's mask needed the pak and it got a VC release.

They barely do any VC releases a month now. It's essentially a dead service. For shame, Nintendo.

UGGGGHHH! FUCKING A!

Goddammit this his been pissing me off. I have been checking every Monday on this and all they've been releasing are the shitty new Wiiware games that nobody, nobody, nobody gives a shit about. Seriously, are people actually buying this shit? There is no way that this "less frequently released games = more money" business model for the VC can be doing them any good. So more crappy WiiWare games mean less WiiWare sales then? Nintendo if you fuck this up, I will turn to Xbox and Sony for the rest of my life.

There are a lot of what if's in life Donny. What if I hit you really hard in the face, knocked yo shit to the back of yo skull? What if I....had you girl gargle my nuts? The fact remains, you are a fuckin mutant.

I buy the occasional WiiWare title if there is decent buzz, or if it peaks my curiosity.

The dispute with Rare may have something to do with it, as may the fact the game isn't as well received as older DKC games. But the true answer is only known by the people in Nintendo who know such things. There could be any number of reasons why Nintendo doesn't release it, from "They're holding on to it for a Donkey Kong Wii game" to "It's particularly difficult to get to work on the VC emulator" to "We don't think it will make money" to "We don't wanna, so nyah!".

Now that you've got the Highwind there are a number of things you can do. At
this moment the most obvious one is the Wutai sidequest, check out the
sidequests section for more info.

Your next destination is Mideel, a town on the Southeast-most crescent shaped
continent. You'll find it in the middle of a forest patch.

When you enter the shops you'll always notice a person being chased by a
Chocobo. Speak to this person each time you see them in a different shop,
also speak to the Chocobo and if you have a Mimett Greens it'll react. Choose
to scratch behind its ears and you'll receive the Contain Materia.

Go into the weapon shop and attempt to open the door at the back. Leave the
shop and go across the bridge to the West. Behind the person to the right of
the house examine the ground to find a key. Return to the Weapon shop and try
using it on that door. When it breaks off choose to tell the man the truth.
For being honest you get a Curse Ring.

Proceed back to the town entrance and head North towards the other end. As
you walk a scene will occur.

As Cid go to the operation room and create a party. Return to the bridge and
talk to the pilot. Go back into Mideel and inside the house beside the two
men who were talking about Cloud to find an Elixir. Now head to North Corel.

did that help?

I got lucky. The Ice Cave is very hard, and to be honest with that monster setup there's no way I should have been able to get out alive.

Wizards can be handled with LIT2. Unfortunately you can't run from them.

I think I've already done all of that. I've had the Highwind for awhile. I think the old guy said something about the village of the ancients, but it's just a crater now.

I Judging by their absence in the new DKC game, I'd have to assume the Kremlings are licensed to Rare. But the original three DKC games made it on the VC, so who knows?

They released an import NES game today (Uforia?). I guess that has to mean something.

You need the Ancient Key that you find when you have the Sub and then you go to where Aerith died and use the key in the room with the waterfalls.

I use my DS as an alarm clock (most fucking horrid sound ever, wakes me up instantly) and this morning I happened to notice the Pictochat for the first time in forever. Does anybody actually use this stupid thing? There's 4 rooms that can hold 16 users at once but I've never seen anybody on it. Are people having Pictochat parties or some shit? It's nowhere near as practical as texting someone and it seems like the gimmick was forgotten almost immediately. Why is this feature still preloaded on the DS? Who actually actively uses and enjoys it?

I have to say Usa, it's intrgiuing to me that you were at Lv 26 before the Temple of Fiends from grinding in the water temple. I got there pretty much by....playing the game. I don't think I've actually taken the time to level grind since before the Earth Cave.

The Water Temple is so not one of my grind spots. Late game it's usually the Waterfall Cave or the Ice Cave.

But, um...yeah, okay. I don't know why. I might have ran from more fights and not retreated as often. I don't like to EXIT when my inventory gets full.

Unless the fight looks like it might be a real pain in the ass, or I'm trying to figure out where the hell I am going (one of the things I hate about random encounters on RPG's), I just fight anything that runs into me. When I'd get out of a dungeon I'd have somewhere between 80-150 thousand gold, spend as much as I could on stocking heals, spells, weapons, armor. Go through the dungeon and by the time I was done with that one, I'd have "recovered" the exact same amount,, possibly a little more. As of right now, I have over 400 grand — and nothing to spend it on Sad

Me and a friend Pictochatted once. But actually we just drew obscene pictures and sent them to each other.
