I suppose Pokemon would count too, I tend to like being overleveled.

Definitely agree on Symphony of the Night. You could kill most bosses by just throwing a billion knives at them as fast as possible. I think I died maybe twice ever in that game.

i died a lot of times in that hallway where you have to switch from a bat to the mist cloud. stupid controls...

I thought it was pretty easy too, but I still liked it. Did you try the harder difficulty? I was going to try it on the harder settings, but I loaned it to a friend who "accidently" sold it with his 360 and games in a big bundle.

Columns is super fun, and while I guess you don't beat it, it's still way too easy. It's built so big combo chains are really, really easy to do, and half the time you don't even have to put thought into what you're doing. You can just put a bunch of pieces down, and sooner or later you'll accidentally trigger a big combo chain. LAME.

Same with Meteos on DS. It's a great concept but really easy because if you're almost dead you can just start randomly sliding blocks anywhere and chances are you're going to break some bricks.

Oh, yes, Symphony is way too easy, particularly once you know the game well.

Yoshi's Story was meant to be easy. And if you want a challenge, try to doing all Level 4s, and try getting 30 melons in each level.

Kirby Super Star is ridiculously easy though. I just picked up Super Star Ultra on a recommendation, because I needed more Club Nintendo points. It's just as easy as the SNES version, if not easier.

I think I beat it on Normal, and if it's the same gameplay on a harder difficulty, then I don't want to bother. I mean I already succeeded in beating the game, what's the fun of going through it again on a harder difficulty? I mean don't get me wrong, I love a challenge but was so underwhelmed with what this game had to offer, and honestly it had every right to be an awesome game. I enjoyed searching for the secret rare animals and murdering them.

ZOE 2 and Klonoa 1 and 2. I know that the Klonoa series' main story isn't really meant to be super difficult but I always hoped it would get a little more challenging then it did. That being said I really the series and I always relax whenever I play them. As for ZOE 2 I can understand under certain circumstances how it could be challenging however once you learn how to properly follow up a dodge with a thrust attack you've got many of the bosses beat, that aside I love ZOE 2.

I think all of the 'Mario' games are expected to be easy. So that's never really a disappointment. However I thought Kefka from FFVI was too easy as a final boss. (Maybe I just 'grinded' too much when I had every one of my characters learn Ultima). However I thought NeoXdeath from FFV was way harder.

I actually thoguht it was replayable enough to give it a go on the tougher difficulty. Plus, I owned it. I never trade in/sell games, so I usually try and get all I can out of them if they are replayable at all.

^ I love Gun, there's something incredibly satisfying about shooting outlaws with a rifle from horseback and then riding back to town, where's the sequel? I'd love to see GUN II.

Me too! I agree with Doddsino that it had a lot of potential but didn't end up being satisfying enough. I always hoped for a sequel to capitalize on that potential.

But I am excited for Red Dead Redemption.

Yeah I know Yoshi's Story was supposed to be easy, but it was SOOOOOOOO easy! lol. And yeah it was kinda hard doing all the level 4's. I don't think I ever got 30 melons in each level either... the last time I even played that game was like 5 or 6 years ago.
And I've heard Kirby Superstar Ultra is easy as hell, but it also looks fun as hell too Very Happy

Fuck no. There was one last item to get for 100% which required chainsparking at such an absurd level I want to slit the throat of all the level designers. There was a massive fucking increase in difficulty spike that you were not prepared nor trained for. To this day I still haven't gotten it. That fucking problem right there stops a game dead in its tracks. The only way it's playable is if you try to get through it as quickly as possible without getting 100%. With that, what the hell is the point of playing it?

So you are telling me you beat through the gauntlet in one fell swoop?

I'd have to say some ones that I thought were fun yet easy and were already mentioned here include pretty much any Kirby Game and Final Fantasy I & II GBA, though II's level up system was a bit ridonkulous at times. Also for the GBA was Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, an interesting tactical RPG where the enemy AI stops posing a challenge after about a half hour of playtime.

I also just recently replayed Donkey Kong Country 3 a few weeks ago. After having gone through Donkey Kong Country 2, it provided no challenge. The DK Coins are pretty much given to you, and the bonus barrels aren't even remotely hidden as well as they were in DKC2. The game still has some fun parts, but I don't think it has aged too well...

It's not disappointingly easy, but it has virtually no replay value.
