Because time is stored as a multi-byte variable and they didn't handle it in memory properly. It's less excusable than with other types of data because it's very easy to predict.

I understand the programming error, I don't understand how this could go through quality testing and not be recognized as a huge fucking disaster of a flaw.

I haven't had a problem with PSN as much as the servers of MW2.

No joke activisions servers have failed me on at least 5 accounts.
