I too have read the article. Let's just say that anyone who thinks they know what goes on in the secret illegal drug smuggling operation doesn't really know anything about the secret illegal drug smuggling operation. |
The world may never know...

Is it Syd's retirement letter? If so, I propose a Mass Hara Kiri party to protest it...

I will say this, I hope we see another comparision article sometime soon like the "Pac Man: An Accurate Simulation of Your Meaningless Life" article. That is quite possibly one of the best articles I have ever come across on the Internet, dead serious.

Yeah...I've sent that to at least a dozen people, telling them it's one of the best reads you'll ever find. It's also SO depressing at how close to home it hits...haha.

The 100th article as an expose cataloging the history of violence and destruction that the Fraggles have reaped upon the poor and defenseless Doozers.

Pretty sure the trash heap was a she. Either way, what bothers me is that it never got bigger or smaller, or decomposed.

More comparison articles'd be cool, I think, but didn't everyone get all pissy that he was losing his creativity and just resting on formula when he made the Contra article, or something? They definitely did in the IRC, anyway.

I seem to remember there being some fairly assholish comments on I-Am-Bored about A Link To Love.

Some people are stupid. I've shown A Link To Love to a couple friends and they loved it. One of, if not the, favorite article of mine here.

What the fuck IS the illegal secret drug smuggling operation?
EDIT: Wait a tic... Is Syd really a conglomeration of robots or a really old guy, or maybe has some hideous disease? Cause I don't want to read it if that's the case. Please warn me!

It's probably just the mods board (prepares to be shot from the skyscraper across the street via high powered 50 caliber rifle).
Also, who the fuck didn't like the Contra article? That shit was fantastic.
Edit*, PS. No Syd is not a really old guy, that's GPFontaine you're thinking of
In regards to Syd being a robot I'm pretty sure you're confusing him with Not Sure.

Why on Earth would anyone doctor an April Fool's Day screenshot? If there's anything you can trust in life, it's stuff posted on the internet each April 1st.

Really? That's not what the site looks like to mods? Really? Are you sure Dr. Jeebus? Cause that shot looks so real to me. In fact, I'm almost certain that's what the site looks like to mods. Because, I mean, there is no way that that screenshot is fake, or an April Fools day prank. No way at all.
I remember that April Fools day, asshole.

Yup. I read the site back then, but didn't get on the forums at all. The site was so fucked up then that I figured it must have something to do with the forums, so checked them.

That whole April Fools Day in 2006 is actually the only reason I made an account here initially, to talk about the site being hacked (Yes, I actually believed it ). As you can see, my join date is right when it was all happening!
